If only 24% of consumers trust AI to make purchases, where are Shopify’s 13x AI-referred orders coming from…Either that 24% is wildly overactive, or “trust AI for purchases” is measuring something different from “let an agent add this specific item to my cart.”
Hi Noora, the way I understood the 13x is “the AI recommended, I clicked on the link, and made the purchase myself”, whereas the AI purchase would be “I search something in an AI agent and it does the purchase for me”.
